Tinney's Irish Shop was born sometime around the time our youngest son David was born, that is in 1990. It originally was a small part of a larger leather clothing business in Neuenstadt a. K. in south west Germany. After some time I felt I would like to expand the Irish part so I opened a new shop in Heilbronn in 1995. The popularity of the shop encouraged me to expand so that in 1997 I opened another shop in Heidelberg. At the end of 1998, we planned to open another in Würzburg but finding the right spot proved to be difficult. We put the project on ice and there it remains today. After some more restructuring - great word that isn't it? - we have today, our internet shop and our shop in Heidelberg. And that is quite enough for us to handle. Remember if you are ever in Heidelberg drop in, you'll love it and if ever in Neuenstadt area give us a ring, and we'll arrange to meet, we'd love to meet you. So that is an up-to-date history.
