The High Cross of Duleek is one of the most beautiful of the High Crosses of Ireland. This is a beautiful miniature replica of the High Cross of Duleek, one of Ireland's most beautiful High Crosses. The High Crosses had many functions, but surely the panels representing Biblical scenes had a teaching function. On one side of the Duleek High Cross is the crucified Christ with various biblical scenes, but on the reverse there is a central boss and in the panels are carved complex Celtic Knots and Interlace. A true and enduring masterpiece of the early Celtic Church.
